Deorum Studios began as a university project led by Hunter Deorum, with a clear vision: to create art that prompts deeper thinking and real-world action. From the start, Hunter has used his work to spark conversations about critical issues, such as suicide prevention, mental health, and environmental sustainability. What began as a personal exploration into the power of visual storytelling has grown into a dynamic studio specialising in illustration, graphic design, and animation. Deorum Studios focuses on work that doesn’t just look good—it carries meaning, encouraging viewers to reflect and respond to the issues that shape our lives today.

Hunter Deorum is a multimedia artist whose expertise spans illustration, graphic design, and animation. His distinctive approach to contemporary art engages audiences in a unique and meaningful way, making his work both thought-provoking and visually captivating.
Recognised and Celebrated:
Hunter’s work has been featured in various galleries and institutions, including Wolverhampton Art Gallery (2018), Citizens Photography (2020), Staffordshire University (2022), Staffordshire University Prospectus (2023), Wolverhampton University (2024), Boomer Gallery London (2024), Newhampton Arts Centre (2024), AKA Fine Art Contemporary Cambridge (2024) and Art-Collide (2024). His articles have also been published in The Visual Arts Journal Issue 12 (2024) as well as Chewing The Fat Issue 06 (2024) and Artists Responding To Issue 13 (2025). Additionally, he was awarded the Wolverhampton Society of Artists Jarvis Prize (2024) for his investigation into the relationship between psychology and fine art.
Throughout his career, Deorum has had the privilege of working with charitable organisations like The Good Shepherd Charity and SUIT Men’s Mental Health to raise awareness and create impactful conversations through art. Adding to this, he has also donated multiple pieces of work to art auctions organised by charities, including the Children’s Hospice in Cambridge and others. By collaborating with these causes, he's been able to use his work as a platform for social change, supporting mental health initiatives and helping those in need.
